Job Description

Interested candidate should be 35-40 years of age ,preferably with academic experience.

The Immigration Filing Manager (or Case Officer) is responsible for managing client immigration and visa applications from initial documentation to final submission. This role involves reviewing, preparing, and filing applications accurately within deadlines, maintaining compliance with immigration regulations, and coordinating with clients, consultants, and visa authorities to ensure smooth case processing.

Key Responsibilities:

1. File Management & Documentation

  • Collect, verify, and organize client documents as per immigration or college requirements.
  • Prepare application files (study permit, PR, work permit, visitor visa, etc.) for submission.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all client files, ensuring confidentiality.
  • Upload and manage files in CRMs or immigration portals (IRCC, provincial portals, etc.).

2. Case Assessment & Processing

  • Review eligibility criteria for different visa categories.
  • Identify missing or incorrect information and coordinate with clients for rectification.
  • Ensure all applications are complete and compliant before submission.
  • Track the progress of submitted applications and update clients regularly.

3. Client Communication

  • Communicate clearly with clients regarding documentation requirements, application status, and timelines.
  • Respond to client queries through email, phone, or in-person meetings.
  • Maintain a professional and supportive relationship with clients throughout the process.

4. Coordination & Compliance

  • Collaborate with counsellors, admission officers, and visa consultants for timely case completion.
  • Stay updated on immigration policies, visa procedures, and documentation standards.
  • Ensure all filings comply with the latest IRCC and provincial immigration regulations.

5. Reporting & Record keeping

  • Maintain case status reports for management review.
  • Ensure proper filing, archiving, and retrieval of client documents.
  • Prepare periodic reports on application submissions, approvals, and pending files.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in any field (preferred: Administration, Law, or related discipline).
  • 1–3 years of experience in immigration filing, documentation, or visa processing ,or with academic field experience.
  • Strong knowledge of Canadian/UK/Australian immigration systems and document requirements.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM systems.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
