Janani, an affiliate of DKT International, was established in 1995 as a pioneer in contraceptive social marketing and clinical family planning services in eastern India. The organization operates Surya Family Planning Clinics in Bihar, Jharkhand, and Uttar Pradesh, serving over 67,000 patients annually. Janani provides family planning access to rural, poor, and vulnerable populations in some of the most underserved areas of India. Additionally, Janani works in partnership with the Government of India under NHM and CSMP programs, and markets contraceptive and safe abortion products across twenty-one states in India, as well as Bhutan and Nepal.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Field Manager, located in Patna. The Field Manager will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations of field activities, managing field staff, ensuring compliance with organizational standards, and coordinating with local health authorities and partners. Responsibilities include monitoring program implementation, conducting field visits, collecting and analyzing data, preparing reports, and ensuring efficient logistics and supply chain management.

• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in data collection, analysis, and report preparation
• Knowledge of logistics and supply chain management
• Ability to work independently and make informed decisions
• Understanding of public health, family planning, and reproductive health
• Experience working with government health programs and partnerships
• Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Management, or related field (Master's preferred)
• Willingness to travel frequently within the assigned regions
