The ideal candidate will be responsible for the onsite installation, inspection, maintenance, and repair of solar energy systems for residential and commercial properties. This role requires technical expertise, a commitment to safety, and strong customer service skills.  Key Responsibilities: Installation: Perform end-to-end installation of solar panels, mounting hardware, inverters, and related balance-of-system components in accordance with manufacturer specifications, blueprints, and safety guidelines. Maintenance: Conduct routine preventive and corrective maintenance on solar PV systems to ensure optimal efficiency and output. Troubleshooting & Repair: Diagnose and resolve complex electrical and mechanical issues with system performance, including testing, fault location, and component replacement (e.g., inverters, wiring, modules). Site Assessment: Conduct site evaluations to identify potential hazards/challenges and determine the optimal placement and configuration for solar systems. Electrical Work: Perform electrical tasks, including wiring, grounding, and continuity testing, ensuring compliance with all local and national electrical codes and standards. Documentation & Reporting: Maintain detailed and accurate records of all installation and maintenance activities, system performance, and spare part usage. Customer Interaction: Professionally interact with clients, providing technical support and educating them on the operation and maintenance of their solar energy systems. Safety & Compliance: Strictly adhere to all health and safety protocols (e.g., OSHA standards) and ensure all installations comply with relevant regulations.
