Job Title: Field Supervisor – Literacy Program (2 Positions)

About Us

Manjari Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving literacy and education outcomes in rural and semi-urban communities. Through community-based interventions, we empower learners with essential skills and create sustainable learning environments.

We are looking for motivated and committed Field Supervisors to support our literacy program by mentoring volunteers, ensuring quality field implementation, and strengthening community engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Volunteer Supervision:
• Manage, guide, and mentor a team of 10–12 volunteers (Jan Shikshak / community facilitators).
• Provide regular feedback, motivation, and capacity-building support to volunteers.
• Field Monitoring & Support:
• Conduct routine field visits to schools, learning centers, and community spaces.
• Ensure quality delivery of literacy sessions and adherence to program guidelines.
• Support volunteers in resolving on-ground challenges related to attendance, learner engagement, or community participation.
• Data Verification & Reporting:
• Verify and consolidate volunteer reports, attendance records, and learner assessment data.
• Prepare monthly progress reports and submit them to the Resource Coordinator.
• Maintain accurate documentation of program activities and outcomes.
• Community Engagement:
• Facilitate parent and community meetings to encourage participation and ownership.
• Build strong relationships with local stakeholders to support program sustainability.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Education: Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Education, Social Work, Rural Development or related field.
• Experience: At least 1–2 years of field experience in education/literacy/community development projects.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills in Hindi (local language) and basic English.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel) and mobile data collection tools.
• Ability to travel extensively within assigned field areas.
• Leadership, mentoring and problem-solving abilities.
