Job Description

A motivated and results-driven Field Sales Executive is needed to expand the customer base for a packaged drinking water company by acquiring B2B clients, managing distributor relationships, and increasing product visibility within a designated sales territory. This role requires frequent travel to meet clients, build strong relationships, and drive sales to achieve company targets. Key responsibilities

  • Sales and revenue generation:
  • Achieve monthly sales targets for packaged drinking water.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities with B2B clients, corporate tie-ups, dealers, and distributors.
  • Contact new and existing customers to discuss needs and promote products.
  • Client and territory management:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients, dealers, and distributors.
  • Conduct regular market visits to ensure product visibility and availability.
  • Manage a specific sales territory and its client relationships.
  • Reporting and administration:
  • Compile and present daily/weekly/monthly sales reports to management.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer information, potentially using a CRM system.
  • Marketing and promotion:
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to implement promotional activities.
  • Participate in promotional events or trade shows to expand market reach.

Qualifications and skills

  • Education:
  • A minimum of a 12th-grade education is often required, with some companies preferring a bachelor's degree in a related field like Business or Marketing.
  • Experience:
  • Previous experience in field sales, especially within the FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) or beverage sector, is a plus.
  • Experience is not always required; some roles are open to freshers.
  • Skills:
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong understanding of sales principles and techniques.
  • Ability to work independently with a proactive and motivated mindset.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in using a smartphone, sales apps, and potentially a CRM system.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license and a bike for transportation.

Additional details

  • Work environment: This is a field-based position requiring significant travel within the assigned territory.
  • Reporting: Field executives typically report to a Territory Sales Manager or a Regional Sales Manager.
  • Physical requirements: The role requires physical stamina for travel and in-person meetings.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
