Job Description

Role Summary: We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Market Development Executive to drive secondary sales and expand product reach in assigned territories. The role involves managing channel partners, influencing retailers, building strong market relationships, and ensuring timely product availability and visibility at the ground level. Key Responsibilities: Drive secondary sales through effective engagement with retailers, distributors, and channel partners. Conduct regular market visits to assess retail execution, identify gaps, and ensure availability of SKUs. Build and nurture strong relationships with dealers, wholesalers, and retailers. Monitor distributor performance and assist in order generation, stock replenishment, and sales tracking. Implement promotional activities, in-store branding, and marketing campaigns to boost market penetration. Collect market intelligence, including competitor activity, pricing trends, and customer feedback. Collaborate with the primary sales team to align distribution and trade marketing goals. Ensure proper product placement, visibility, and POSM (Point of Sale Materials) deployment. Provide timely reporting of field activities, beat plans, and market insights to the Area Manager. Key Skills & Competencies: Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills Ability to influence trade partners and retailers Good knowledge of distribution networks and retail dynamics Willingness to travel extensively within assigned territory Proficiency in MS Excel and reporting tools Self-driven, goal-oriented, and team player
