Job Description

Role: IT Support Engineer

Location: Icchapore, Surat

Experience: 1 to 2 years

Immediately Requirement!

We are looking for an experienced and proactive L1 IT Support Engineer to provide advanced technical assistance to end users, troubleshoot escalated issues, and support infrastructure systems across our organization. The ideal candidate should have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and hands-on experience with a range of hardware, software, and network troubleshooting tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide Level 2 support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and other end-user systems.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve escalated issues from L1 support, including hardware failures, OS issues, application errors, and network connectivity problems.
  • Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot Windows/Mac/Linux environments.
  • Manage user accounts and access rights in Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and other enterprise systems.
  • Perform system diagnostics, log analysis, and root cause investigation for recurring issues.
  • Coordinate with vendors or third-party providers for equipment servicing or support when required.
  • Install, configure, and maintain IT hardware, software, and peripherals.
  • Support remote users using VPNs, remote desktop tools, and collaboration platforms.
  • Maintain documentation for processes, configurations, and troubleshooting steps.
  • Collaborate with other IT teams for system upgrades, patching, and infrastructure changes.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 2–4 years of experience in IT support, with at least 1 year handling L1 responsibilities.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11, Mac OS, Microsoft Office 365, and basic networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
  • Experience with Active Directory, Exchange, remote desktop tools, ticketing systems (e.g., Jira, Freshservice), and antivirus solutions.
  • Good understanding of ITIL principles and incident management.
  • Excellent communication, customer service, and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and resolve issues efficiently.
