Job Description

Responsibilities: Center Management: - Oversee daily operations of the community center to ensure a safe and productive environment. - Maintain and manage the center's facilities, equipment, and resources. - Ensure compliance with all organizational policies and procedures. Program Implementation: - Coordinate with program managers to implement various educational and skill development programs. - Monitor program activities to ensure they are conducted effectively and meet the set objectives. - Facilitate the organization of workshops, training sessions, and other events at the center. Staff Supervision: - Supervise and support center staff, including educators, facilitators, and administrative personnel. - Conduct regular meetings with staff to discuss progress, challenges, and improvements. - Evaluate staff performance and provide necessary training and development opportunities. Beneficiary Management: - Oversee the enrollment process of beneficiaries into various programs offered at the center. - Ensure accurate and timely documentation of beneficiary data and progress. - Address any issues or concerns raised by beneficiaries and provide appropriate support. Community Engagement: - Build and maintain strong relationships with community members, local organizations, and stakeholders. - Promote the center’s programs and activities to the community to encourage participation. - Collect feedback from the community to continuously improve the center's offerings. Monitoring and Evaluation: - Develop and implement methods to measure the impact and effectiveness of the center’s programs. - Prepare and submit regular reports on center activities, progress, and outcomes. - Conduct periodic evaluations of center performance and identify areas for improvement. Resource Management: - Manage the center's budget and ensure efficient utilization of resources. - Procure necessary supplies and materials for the center’s activities. - Ensure proper maintenance and security of the center’s assets. Administrative Duties: - Maintain accurate records of all center activities, including attendance, program outcomes, and financial transactions. - Ensure timely reporting to higher management and stakeholders. - Handle any administrative tasks required for the smooth functioning of the center. Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree in related field. - Minimum of 1 years of experience in managing community centers or similar setups. - Strong leadership and organizational skills. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work effectively with diverse groups and individuals. - Proficiency in basic computer applications and data management. Additional Skills: - Problem-solving and decision-making abilities. - Capacity to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure. - Commitment to community development and empowerment.
