Field Engineer

Field Hardware & Network Support Engineer Location: Goregaon West Job Type: Full-Time (Field Job) Experience: 1–3 Years preferred Industry: IT Hardware, Networking & Surveillance Job Summary: We are looking for a skilled and independent Hardware Engineer who can handle troubleshooting, installations, and maintenance of IT hardware, networking, and CCTV systems. This is a purely field-based job involving on-site visits to client locations. Key Responsibilities: Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to: Computers & Laptops – hardware/software faults, assembling, upgrades, and maintenance Networking (Wi-Fi & LAN) – crimping, configuration, domain setup, VLAN, etc. Software Installation – OS installation, driver updates, antivirus, and utility setups CCTV Systems – installation, configuration, and ongoing maintenance Provide on-site support at client premises Maintain service records and update reports after each visit Ensure customer satisfaction through timely and professional service Coordinate with the back office for inventory, parts, and scheduling Candidate Requirements: Proven experience as a hardware/network support technician or similar role Strong knowledge of PC hardware, Windows OS, networking fundamentals, and CCTV systems Ability to work independently and manage service calls without supervision Good communication and customer service skills Own two-wheeler and valid license (mandatory) Education: Diploma/ITI/Bachelor’s in Computer Hardware, Networking, or a related field
