The Field Application Specialist / Scientist / FSE role at OmicsVeu is a dynamic, customer-facing position focused on delivering technical excellence and exceptional support for molecular pathology systems, including EZ-RT, NanoVIP, and NanoMtrx. Based in Hyderabad, India, this full-time, permanent role requires extensive field engagement—up to 75% travel—across domestic and international markets. The ideal candidate will combine deep scientific expertise with hands-on experience in IHC/ISH staining systems to ensure seamless instrument installation, training, troubleshooting, and maintenance. This role is pivotal in driving customer success, supporting assay development and validation, and bridging field insights with R&D, Quality, and Sales teams. By enabling precise, reliable diagnostics, the specialist contributes directly to advancing precision oncology and improving patient outcomes globally.Responsibilities: - Install, demonstrate, and provide comprehensive training on OmicsVeu molecular pathology systems. - Deliver on-site and remote technical and application support, including troubleshooting, calibration, and maintenance. - Conduct preventive maintenance (PMs) to ensure optimal instrument uptime and performance. - Support the development, validation, and optimization of IHC, ISH, FIS, ImmunoVeu, RNAVeu, and other molecular pathology assays. - Collaborate with R&D, Quality, and Sales teams to relay field feedback and enhance product and customer success strategies. - Travel internationally and domestically (up to 75%) to support customers and regional partners.Preferred Skills & Certifications: - Experience with BioGenex instruments or equivalent diagnostic platforms. - Prior experience in customer-facing technical roles such as application support or product specialist. - Familiarity with QA/QC documentation, CAP/CLIA workflows, and regulatory compliance. - Knowledge of ISO 13485, CE-IVD, or NABL standards (advantageous).Requirements- Advanced degree in Biomedical Engineering, Biotechnology, or Life Sciences (MS/Ph.D. preferred). - Minimum 7 years of relevant experience with hands-on work on IHC or ISH staining systems (required). - Proven ability to perform both Field Service Engineer (FSE) and Application Support roles. - Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills. - Excellent communication skills and fluency in English. - Demonstrated adaptability to diverse cultures and working environments.
