1. Customer Service: Providing excellent customer service by greeting clients, answering inquiries, and addressing any concerns or complaints in a timely and professional manner.
2. Appointment Scheduling: Managing the salon and spa’s appointment book, scheduling appointments for clients, and coordinating with service providers to ensure efficient scheduling and utilization of resources.
3. Front Desk Operations: Overseeing front desk operations, including managing incoming calls, directing clients to appropriate service providers, and maintaining a tidy and organized reception area.
4. Cash Handling and Billing: Handling cash transactions, processing payments, and managing billing and invoicing processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
5. Client Relations: Building and maintaining positive relationships with clients, understanding their preferences and needs, and recommending appropriate services and products to enhance their experience.
6. Team Management: Supervising reception staff, providing guidance and support, and ensuring they are trained to deliver excellent customer service and perform their duties effectively.
7. Inventory Management: Monitoring inventory levels of retail products and salon/spa supplies, placing orders as needed, and ensuring adequate stock levels are maintained.
8. Sales and Upselling: Promoting salon and spa services and retail products to clients, upselling additional services or products, and meeting sales targets to contribute to revenue growth.
9. Administrative Tasks: Performing various administrative tasks, such as data entry, filing, and maintaining client records, to support the smooth operation of the salon and spa.
10. Quality Assurance: Ensuring high standards of service quality and professionalism are maintained at the reception desk, and addressing any issues or discrepancies promptly.
11. Training and Development: Providing training and ongoing support to reception staff to improve their skills and knowledge, and fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
