Job Role - Feild Engineer -Instrumentation

• Ensure that maintenance of all field Instruments is carried out as per safety and applicable statutory norms, standards and HSEF guidelines.
• Maintenance of field instruments as per SMP and best practices.
• Monitoring of field Instruments and control room installations to detect abnormality proactively.
• Support in maintaining production target and quality of products.
• Support field activities during pre-commissioning, commissioning and start-up of plants.
• Monitor and comply with laid down procedures during start-up and shutdown.
• Ensure resource minimisation and waste elimination.
• Support in handling plant emergencies in plant operations.
• Monitor functioning of Instrument and control systems and ensure all jobs are carried out as per laid down safety norms.
• Ensure all measuring instruments, analysers, calibration equipment and tools are in proper condition.
• Ensure proper handling and preservation of spares and consumables at site.
• Ensure proper housekeeping of shop floor and effective waste material handling as per laid down norms.
• Knowledge of alarm rationalization, alarm settings, Process Safety, Cyber Security and participation in HAZOP and System Integrity Level (SIL) Study (preferred).
• Knowledge of Relevant Instrumentation and control systems codes and standards
• Knowledge of field instruments used in Oil & Gas Industry and working principle.
• Maintenance and troubleshooting of instruments and control systems.
• Knowledge of safety precautions and PPEs related to instruments and control systems.
• Knowledge of measuring instruments and calibration equipments.
• Knowledge of PTW procedure, JHA / HIRA and toolbox talk.
