Dy. Manager/Manager Polymer Logistics

• Handling and managing entire polymer export logistics, including planning, scheduling, coordinating, and executing export shipment operation.

• Interacting with various shipping lines for export ocean freight for budgetary purposes as per the requirements of the marketing team.

• Interacting with various shipping lines for managing vessel space & containers

as per shipment target.

• Finalize of ocean freight rates for all export destinations, which includes arranging freight quotations from various shipping lines.

• Preparing online monthly ocean freight approval notes by compiling/tabulating

rates obtained from various shipping lines.

• Placing bookings with the shipping lines for obtaining booking & vessel space

confirmation, pickup letter, cart-in orders, etc.

• Planning shipments while coordinating with relevant vendors transporters for

trailers, CHAs, Inspection agencies, etc.

• Preparing indents in SAP for the shipments planned.

• Following up with the Finance Group for customers' payments/LC confirmation.

• Coordinating with Finance Group for pre-shipment documents (invoices,

packing lists, etc.).

• Generating a stuffing plan and circulating the same to all concerned.

• Coordinating with the Plant Logistics Team for smooth loading.

• Tracking activities of all the vendors.

• Preparing online ocean freight approval notes for each shipments through HPL

Connect.

• Generating monthly reports and other reports.

• Initiating vendor appointment process in close coordination with Materials

Management Team.

• Coordinating with customers for all shipping instructions & logistics-related

matters.

• Handling various logistics-related requirements & issues raised by the

customers.

• Coordinating with the Product Group for ensuring material as per the shipment plan.

• Innovatively handling situations to arrive at cost-effective solutions.

• Maintaining excellent relationships with all internal and external agencies, which

is a mandatory requirement.

• Ensuring shipment plans as per target in a cost-effective manner.
