1. **Demand Planning: **
- Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts based on historical data, market trends, and sales input.
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, and finance teams to incorporate market intelligence into demand forecasts.
- Monitor and adjust forecasts to align with changing market conditions and business strategies.
2. **Warehouse Coordination: **
- Oversee warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, and distribution of goods.
- Ensure optimal inventory levels to meet production and sales requirements.
- Coordinate with logistics partners to ensure timely delivery of raw materials and finished products.
3. **Inventory Planning: **
- Develop and implement inventory management strategies to minimize stockouts and excess inventory.
- Monitor inventory levels and perform regular audits to maintain accuracy.
- Work closely with suppliers to manage lead times and order quantities.
4. **Data Analysis: **
- Analyze sales data, inventory levels, and market trends to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Generate reports and dashboards to provide insights into supply chain performance.
- Utilize data-driven approaches to optimize demand and inventory planning processes.
5. **Production Planning: **
- Collaborate with production teams to develop production schedules that align with demand forecasts.
- Monitor production progress and address any issues that may impact delivery timelines.
- Ensure efficient utilization of production resources to meet customer requirements.
6. **Raw Material Planning: **
- Plan and manage the procurement of raw materials to support production schedules.
- Maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective sourcing.
- Monitor raw material inventory levels and address any potential shortages proactively.
Essential Attributes
Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, or related field.
3+ years of experience in demand planning, warehouse coordination, or inventory management in the consumer durables industry.
Proficiency in demand forecasting and inventory management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Excel). Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex data sets. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
