**Job Description – F&B Hostess**

**Location:** Peninsula Redpine Hotel, Andheri East, Mumbai

**Department:** Food & Beverage

**Reports To:** Restaurant Manager / F&B Executive

**Position Summary:**

The F&B Hostess is the first point of contact for all guests, responsible for creating a warm, welcoming, and memorable dining experience. She manages guest seating, reservations, and guest flow to ensure smooth restaurant operations while maintaining Peninsula Redpine’s service standards.

**Key Responsibilities:**

**Guest Experience:**

* Greet guests warmly and courteously upon arrival.

* Escort guests to their tables and present menus.

* Handle guest inquiries regarding menu, timings, table availability, and promotions.

* Maintain high levels of guest satisfaction by anticipating needs and providing attentive service.

* Address guest complaints or concerns courteously and escalate when required.

**Reservations & Coordination:**

* Manage walk-ins and reservations efficiently through phone, WhatsApp, or reservation systems.

* Coordinate with the service and kitchen team to ensure smooth table turnover and guest flow.

* Maintain an updated waitlist during peak hours.

**Operational Responsibilities:**

* Maintain cleanliness and presentation of the hostess desk and entrance area.

* Assist in setting up dining areas during busy hours when required.

* Communicate with F&B team on special requests, VIP arrivals, and dietary needs.

* Ensure menus are clean, updated, and neatly arranged.

**Sales & Upselling:**

* Promote ongoing offers, special menus, and events to guests.

* Encourage reservations for upcoming promotions or special occasions.

**Requirements:**

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

* Well-groomed, confident, and professional appearance.

* Previous experience in hospitality or customer-facing roles preferred.

* Ability to multitask, stay calm, and maintain positive attitude in busy environments.

* Basic knowledge of restaurant operations is an advantage.

**Education & Experience:**

* Minimum HSC or Graduate (preferred).

* 1–2 years of experience as Hostess/Guest Relation Executive in restaurant or hotel.

**Age Criteria:**

* 20 to 27 years (can be customized as per your requirement)
