F&B Executive

We are looking for a dynamic and service-driven F&B Executive to join our team at The Postcard Hotel, Gir. The ideal candidate will bring strong operational knowledge, exceptional guest service skills, and a deep understanding of F&B standards within a luxury environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure smooth day-to-day operations of the Food & Beverage department.
• Maintain The Postcard’s service standards across all dining experiences.
• Oversee restaurant floor operations, guest seating, table management, and service flow.
• Assist in menu knowledge, upselling, wine pairing, and guest recommendations.
• Coordinate with the culinary team to ensure timely and accurate order service.
• Handle guest queries, feedback, and special requests with efficiency and empathy.
• Monitor cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards in all F&B areas.
• Support inventory control, requisitions, breakage reports, and cost-control practices.
• Train and mentor junior team members on grooming, service etiquette, and product knowledge.
• Work closely with the F&B Manager for planning, special events, and service enhancements.
• Ensure adherence to luxury hospitality standards and brand values of The Postcard Hotel.

Requirements

• Prior experience in luxury hotels or boutique resorts is mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of Food & Beverage operations, service styles, and fine-dining etiquette.
• Excellent communication, guest handling, and interpersonal skills.
• Sound knowledge of wines, spirits, beverages, and menu engineering.
• Must be detail-oriented, proactive, and a strong team player.
• Ability to work under pressure and maintain composure in high-end service environments.
• Candidates with regional understanding of Gir, Gujarat or local exposure will be preferred.
