Role Overview

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Fashion Merchandiser to manage store and vendor relations, customer communications, and product merchandising across online and offline channels. The ideal candidate will have an eye for fashion, strong organizational skills, and the ability to ensure our products are always presented in the most appealing and consistent way. This role will be central to maintaining brand alignment across platforms, enhancing customer experience, and supporting sales growth.

What you will do

• Store & Vendor Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with retail partners and vendors, ensuring smooth coordination on orders, stock, and payments.
• Data Management: Update and track all vendor and customer orders, payments, and inventory on a daily basis.
• Website Management: Maintain product listings, add/remove ready-to-ship pieces, and ensure an engaging and consistent brand image online.
• Product Merchandising: Collaborate on line sheets, lookbooks, and product assortments in alignment with promotional campaigns.
• CRM & Customer Experience: Manage direct customer interactions through Instagram, WhatsApp, and other channels, sharing updates and ensuring queries are resolved quickly.
• Brand Alignment: Work closely with marketing and design teams to ensure that product presentation reflects the Gopi Vaid aesthetic across all touchpoints.

What you will need

• Minimum 2–4 years of experience in merchandising, fashion retail, or customer-facing roles with lifestyle/fashion brands.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills, especially with stores and vendors.
• Hands-on knowledge of digital tools like Shopify, Excel, and Whatsapp.
• Ability to balance operational efficiency with creativity and attention to detail.
• Education in Fashion Management, Merchandising, Marketing, or related fields preferred.
