Fashion Designer

As a Fashion Designer, your role involves conceptualizing, designing, and developing fashion collections that are creative, market-relevant, and aligned with the brand's identity. You will be responsible for trend research, sketching, fabric selection, and coordinating with sampling and production teams. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct market and trend research to understand upcoming styles, colors, and silhouettes. - Create mood boards, themes, and design stories for seasonal collections. - Attend trade fairs, exhibitions, and fashion shows for inspiration and sourcing. - Sketch original designs for garments/accessories using hand sketches or CAD software. - Develop design concepts from idea to final product. - Coordinate with pattern makers and sampling team to develop prototypes. - Create tech packs with detailed measurements, stitching details, trims, and embellishments. - Source and liaise with fabric suppliers and vendors for materials and trims. - Present design collections to the internal team or buyers and incorporate feedback for finalizing collections. Qualification Required: - Bachelors / Diploma in Fashion Design from a reputed institute (e.g., NIFT, Pearl Academy, etc.) Additional Details: This role requires a strong creative and artistic sense, good understanding of garment construction and textiles, proficiency in design software (Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, CorelDRAW, CLO 3D, etc.), good visualization and sketching skills, attention to detail and fashion trends, strong communication, and time management skills.
