Role Overview

As a Couture Styling Specialist, you will be the first face of Talking Threads for walk-in and appointment-based clients at our store. This role blends couture expertise, personalised styling, and relationship management — guiding each client through a refined and emotionally resonant shopping journey.

You’ll work closely with brides, their families, and special occasion clients to help them choose and customise their perfect outfit, aligned with Talking Threads’ design sensibilities. You’ll also act as a bridge between our store, atelier, and CRM teams to ensure seamless delivery of customised couture orders.

Key Responsibilities

✦ Client Styling & Sales

• Engage deeply with clients to understand their personal style, cultural context, and occasion needs
• Recommend couture pieces with customisation options that reflect their vision and Talking Threads’ design language
• Confidently guide clients through the styling, fitting, and customisation journey
• Meet and exceed monthly sales and styling targets

✦ Customisation & Personalisation

• Offer informed, tasteful suggestions for personalisation — including sleeve styles, blouse lengths, embroidery adjustments, and more
• Translate client preferences into viable couture solutions in consultation with design and production teams
• Ensure the final garment reflects impeccable fit, aesthetic coherence, and emotional value

✦ Order Fulfilment & Coordination

• Coordinate closely with the atelier and CRM teams to track the status of all store orders
• Follow up on fittings, approvals, and delivery timelines
• Ensure timely communication with clients at each stage of their couture journey

✦ Client Relationship Management

• Maintain detailed client profiles, preferences, and style notes in the CRM
• Follow up for feedback, future events, and loyalty-driven outreach
• Build trust-based, long-term relationships that translate to referrals and repeat business

Who You Are

• 2–3 years of luxury fashion sales or styling experience (bridal/occasionwear preferred)
• Strong knowledge of couture silhouettes, fabrics, embroidery techniques, and fit
• Empathetic, emotionally intelligent, and deeply client-focused
• Excellent communicator — in both English and Hindi (or regional language as needed)
• Detail-oriented, dependable, and calm under pressure
• Comfortable using CRM tools and coordinating with backend teams
