Role & responsibilities

• Customer Engagement:

  Greet clients, build rapport, listen to needs, and provide tailored recommendations for jewellery, diamonds, and gemstones.

• Product Expertise:

  Offer detailed information on materials, craftsmanship, pricing, and industry trends.

• Sales & Transactions:

  Guide clients through the selection process, close sales, process payments, and explain warranties/return policies.

• Store Operations:

  Maintain high standards for visual merchandising, keep displays attractive, manage inventory, and ensure a clean, safe environment.

• Customer Care:

  Follow up with clients, handle inquiries, and offer advice on jewellery care and maintenance.

• Collaboration:

  Work with design/marketing teams, attend events, and stay updated on new styles.

Preferred candidate profile

• Sales & Service:

  Excellent communication, active listening, customer service, and negotiation skills.

• Product Knowledge:

  Deep understanding of metals, diamonds, gemstones (gemmology), and current jewellery trends.

• Technical Skills:

  Proficiency with Point-of-Sale (POS) systems and inventory management software.

• Personal Attributes:

  Detail-oriented, patient, empathetic, reliable, and passionate about luxury goods.

• Experience:

  Previous retail, sales, or hospitality experience is often required; gemology education is a plus
