Job Description:

SCOPIK is seeking a dynamic and experienced Faculty Coordinator – UX/UI and Interaction Design to lead and manage the B. Voc., program in UX/UI and Interaction Design. The role demands a strong understanding of user-centered design, interaction principles, and hands-on proficiency in industry-standard software and prototyping tools. The candidate will be responsible for academic leadership, curriculum development, and mentoring a team of faculty and students to meet industry-relevant learning out comes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead academic planning, curriculum alignment, and student engagement activities
• Teach core courses in UX research, UI design, interaction design, and prototyping
• Guide students in real-world projects, internships, and portfolio development
• Integrate software training into design pedagogy to meet current industry demands
• Foster collaborations with industry partners and organize guest lectures/workshops
• Support faculty development and academic operations of the program

Key Skills & Competencies:

• Proficiency in tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, InVision, Axure, and Webflow
• Strong understanding of user research, information architecture, wireframing, and usability testing
• Working knowledge of HTML/CSS, responsive design, and basic front-end frameworks
• Familiarity with interaction design for web, mobile, and emerging interfaces
• Ability to manage teams, coordinate cross-functional activities, and mentor students effectively

Qualifications:

• Preferably Master’s degree in Interaction Design, Communication Design, HCI, or related field (Preferred).
• 1-2 years of relevant academic/industry experience in UX/UI and interaction design
• Strong portfolio showcasing UX processes, UI systems, and interactive prototypes
• Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
