Factory Supervisor

Role Overview: The Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring smooth workflow, and managing a team of workers in the glass manufacturing process. The ideal candidate will have strong communication and leadership skills, a solid understanding of glass materials and processes, and excellent computer proficiency for managing production data and reporting. Key Responsibilities:Supervise and coordinate the daily operations of the production/processing unit. Lead and motivate team members to achieve production targets and quality standards. Ensure safety protocols, company policies, and quality procedures are followed. Manage work schedules, delegate tasks, and monitor productivity. Maintain accurate reports, logs, and records using computer systems. Troubleshoot issues and provide quick solutions to ensure smooth operations. Collaborate with other departments (procurement, logistics, quality, etc.) for seamless workflow. Provide training and guidance to staff for skill enhancement and professional growth. Inspect glass products to ensure adherence to company and client specifications. Required Skills & Qualifications:Minimum Diploma/Degree in Mechanical/Production/Industrial Engineering or relevant field. Proven experience as a Supervisor (preferably in a glass or manufacturing industry). Strong knowledge of different types of glass, processing techniques, and industry standards. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Good computer knowledge (MS Office, ERP software, etc.). Leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate teams effectively. Problem-solving mindset and attention to detail. Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure. Preferred:Experience in quality control and process optimization in glass manufacturing. Knowledge of safety protocols and lean manufacturing principles.
