Factory Quality Audit Manager / Merchandiser

Job Overview

We are looking for a Factory Quality Audit Manager / Merchandiser to oversee product quality, factory audits, and order execution for rugs and home furnishing products. The role involves close coordination with production, quality teams, and clients to ensure timely delivery and compliance with quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Quality & Factory Audit

• Conduct regular factory quality audits to ensure adherence to internal and buyer quality standards.
• Monitor raw material, in-process, and final product quality.
• Identify quality issues, suggest corrective actions, and ensure implementation.
• Maintain quality reports, audit checklists, and compliance documentation.

Merchandising & Order Management

• Handle end-to-end order execution from sampling to dispatch.
• Coordinate with production, dyeing, finishing, and packing teams.
• Track production timelines and ensure on-time delivery.
• Ensure buyer specifications, measurements, colors, and packaging standards are met.

Client & Internal Coordination

• Act as a key point of contact between factory, internal teams, and buyers.
• Share quality updates, production status, and audit reports with stakeholders.
• Support buyer inspections and pre-shipment audits.

Process Improvement

• Implement quality improvement systems and SOPs.
• Train factory staff on quality standards and best practices.
• Work towards reducing rejections, rework, and wastage.

Candidate Requirements

• 5–10 years of experience in quality control / merchandising within rugs, carpets, or home furnishing industry.
• Strong knowledge of rug manufacturing processes (handloom / powerloom / finishing).
• Experience in factory audits and buyer compliance standards.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Willingness to travel locally for factory inspections.
