Facility Manager

Role & responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and project teams during the construction phase to ensure timely readiness of utilities, infrastructure, and site facilities.
• Establish and maintain essential site services including power, water, sanitation, security, housekeeping, and canteen facilities.
• Drive workplace

  health, safety, and environment (HSE)

   initiatives, ensuring compliance with statutory norms and international safety standards.
• Liaise with

  local authorities, government departments, and statutory bodies

   for permits, approvals, inspections, and compliance matters.
• Manage preventive and corrective maintenance of electrical, mechanical, civil, and support infrastructure.
• Oversee vendor management for housekeeping, security, and facility services, ensuring cost efficiency and quality.
• Maintain facility budgets, monitor expenses, and ensure adherence to cost limits.
• Keep records and submit periodic reports to the Operations Head.
• Act as the single point of contact for all facility and compliance matters at the site.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Diploma in Engineering, Industrial Management, Facility Management, or related field or direct relevant work experience with any MNC. 
• 510 years of experience in facility management, preferably in industrial/manufacturing environments.

• Key:

   Prior experience working with an

  international or multinational company

   in a facility management or operations related role.
• Strong exposure to

  safety, compliance, and liaison with government authorities

  .
• Good understanding of building services, electrical systems, and statutory regulations.

• Essential Language Skills:

   Proficiency in

  English

   (spoken and written) and

  Marathi

   (spoken and written) is essential for all legal and statutory liaison. 
• Effective communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of site-level issues.
• Manage domestic and international logistics movement, security arrangements and general work force at site.
• Basic understanding of store management 

Other Details:

• Full-time role, based at Khopoli factory site. Mon to Fri (May require weekend visit depending upon work mandate)
• Candidate should be flexible to manage responsibilities during both

  construction and operational phases
