Job Description

The Facility Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of hospital infrastructure, including maintenance, utilities, biomedical equipment, and security systems. The role involves managing housekeeping, laundry, waste disposal, and other support services to maintain hygiene and safety standards. The manager supervises internal staff and external vendors, ensures timely preventive and corrective maintenance, and ensures compliance with health, safety, and statutory norms. Responsibilities include budget management, procurement, and maintaining audit-ready documentation for accreditation. The manager must also handle emergencies efficiently and regularly report facility updates to senior leadership. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Facility Management, Engineering, Hospital Administration 2-3 years of experience in facility management, preferably in a hospital or healthcare setting. Experience managing large-scale support services in a multispecialty hospital is highly desirable.
