Job Description

Role & responsibilities

1. Operations & Maintenance

Oversee maintenance of electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and building systems.
Ensure timely preventive and corrective maintenance.
Coordinate repair work and minimize downtime.

2. Workplace Safety & Compliance

Implement and monitor health, safety, and environmental standards.
Conduct safety audits, inspections, and emergency preparedness drills.
Ensure compliance with statutory and corporate regulations.

3. Vendor & Contract Management

Manage vendors for housekeeping, security, cafeteria, pest control, and maintenance services.
Negotiate contracts, monitor service quality, and ensure adherence to SLAs.

4. Space & Office Management

Plan office layouts, seating arrangements, and workspace allocation.
Coordinate office moves, renovations, and expansions.
Manage conference rooms, meeting spaces, and shared office resources.

5. Budgeting & Cost Control

Prepare and manage facility budgets.
Track expenses, optimize operational costs, and ensure cost-effective solutions.
Implement energy-saving and resource-optimization initiatives.

6. Employee Experience & Support Services

Ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable work environment.
Oversee support services like housekeeping, pantry, transportation, security, and front office.
Address employee complaints and facility-related issues.

7. Asset & Inventory Management

Maintain records of facility assets, equipment, and consumables.
Ensure proper procurement, storage, and lifecycle management of facility items.

8. Sustainability & Environmental Responsibility

Implement waste management, recycling, and energy efficiency programs.
Monitor environmental performance and promote green initiatives.
