Job Description

Role & responsibilities

1. Facility Operations Management

  • Oversee day-to-day facility operations across all corporate buildings.
  • Ensure all infrastructure (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, lifts, DG sets) is maintained and functioning efficiently.
  • Monitor preventive and breakdown maintenance schedules.

2. Vendor & Service Provider Management

  • Manage vendors for housekeeping, security, pantry, pest control, landscaping, and technical services.
  • Negotiate contracts, track performance, and ensure SLA/ KPI compliance.
  • Handle AMC (Annual Maintenance Contracts).

3. Health, Safety & Compliance

  • Ensure the facility meets all statutory and corporate compliance standards.
  • Conduct safety audits, fire drills, and risk assessments.
  • Maintain fire safety equipment, evacuation plans, and EHS protocols.

4. Space & Workplace Management

  • Manage seating plans, occupancy, and space utilization.
  • Coordinate workstation allocation, moves, and changes (MAC).
  • Support corporate office expansions or refurbishments.

5. Budgeting & Cost Control

  • Prepare and manage facility budgets.
  • Track expenses for repairs, consumables, and services.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.

6. Soft Service Oversight

  • Supervise housekeeping quality, office cleanliness, sanitation, caf/pantry services, and employee experience areas.
  • Ensure guest management and front-office services run smoothly.

7. Technical Management

  • Coordinate with technical teams for equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
  • Ensure energy management, UPS/ power backup readiness, and minimum downtime.

8. Administrative & Coordination Duties

  • Coordinate with HR, IT, Admin, and Security for workplace-related needs.
  • Prepare daily/weekly/monthly facility reports.
  • Ensure timely escalation and resolution of facility-related issues.

9. Employee Experience & Support

  • Address employee facility concerns (seating, AC, lighting, cleanliness).
  • Maintain a positive, safe, and productive work environment.
