Facilities Manager Soft Services

Role Overview: As a CBRE Facilities Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing building operations and maintenance for a facility, campus, or a portfolio of small to medium-sized buildings. You will work within the Facilities Management functional area, focusing on all aspects of asset operations and providing support to Property Managers regarding repairs and investment plans. Key Responsibilities: - Provide formal supervision to employees, monitor training and development, conduct performance evaluations, and oversee recruiting and hiring processes. - Schedule and manage the team's daily activities, establish work schedules, assign tasks, cross-train staff, and mentor/coach as needed. - Coordinate and manage facility repairs and maintenance by liaising with technicians, vendors, and contractors. - Maintain positive client relationships, conduct meetings on unresolved facility issues, and prepare/manage capital projects, budgets, and variance reports. - Perform facility inspections ensuring quality assurance and compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. Identify operational efficiencies and upgrade opportunities. - Manage environmental health and safety procedures, oversee vendor relationships, invoicing procedures, and review price quotes for procurement. - Conduct training on maintenance, repairs, and safety best practices, lead by example, and model behaviors consistent with CBRE RISE values. - Apply knowledge of own discipline to achieve team and departmental objectives, troubleshoot and resolve day-to-day and complex issues. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's Degree preferred with 3-5 years of relevant experience. Alternatively, a combination of experience and education will be considered. - Valid driver's license required, Facility Management certification preferred. - Experience in staffing, training, development, coaching, and performance evaluation preferred. - Strong leadership skills, organizational skills, and advanced math skills for financial calculations.,
