Job Description

1. Position Summary

The Facilities Coordinator – Soft Services oversees the daily operations and quality of non-technical facility services including housekeeping, custodial work, pest control, waste management, and gardening. The role ensures that the campus remains clean, hygienic, safe, and welcoming while maintaining high standards of service and compliance.

2. Key Responsibilities Housekeeping & Custodial Management

  • Supervise the daily work of custodial and housekeeping staff to ensure all assigned areas meet AISC’s cleanliness standards.
  • Implement and monitor cleaning schedules for classrooms, offices, washrooms, cafeterias, and outdoor spaces.
  • Ensure cleaning supplies and consumables are maintained at optimal stock levels.
  • Conduct daily and weekly inspections, sharing reports with the Facilities Manager.

Pest Control & Waste Management

  • Coordinate pest control services as per the approved schedule and ensure documentation of treatment reports.
  • Oversee waste segregation, recycling initiatives, and waste collection schedules.
  • Liaise with recycling partners and ensure compliance with environmental standards.

Gardening & Landscaping

  • Supervise gardeners to maintain lawns, trees, and plants across the campus.
  • Ensure irrigation systems are functioning and seasonal planting is carried out as planned.

Vendor & AMC Management

  • Coordinate with service providers (Pest control, waste) to ensure quality and timely services.
  • Verify service reports and ensure proper documentation in the shared drive.
  • Track attendance, productivity, and vendor billing accuracy.

Administration & Reporting

  • Maintain staff attendance, duty rosters, and task allocation records.
  • Submit weekly performance reports and highlight areas for improvement.
  • Support event-related setups and special cleaning drives.

3. Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Facilities Management, Hotel Management, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in housekeeping or soft services supervision.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Knowledge of cleaning tools, chemicals, and safety protocols.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹1,200,000.00 - ₹1,400,000.00 per year
