Job Purpose:

To develop and expand export business for FMCG and Sports product categories by identifying new international markets, generating leads, building distributor networks, and managing inside sales operations for export growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and develop new international markets for FMCG, Sportswear, and Footwear product categories.
  • Handle

    inside business development activities for exports

    including lead generation, proposal sending, negotiation, and closing orders.
  • Develop strong relationships with overseas distributors, importers, channel partners, and agents.
  • Manage export documentation, pricing, commercial terms, Incoterms, LC, shipping coordination, and customs compliance.
  • Achieve monthly/annual export sales targets and expand business volume.
  • Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and identify potential countries/regions for expansion.
  • Coordinate with production, logistics, and finance teams to ensure smooth export order execution.
  • Participate in international trade fairs, exhibitions, and virtual meetings with potential clients.
  • Prepare export sales MIS, performance reports, and business development plans.
  • Ensure compliance with export regulations, documentation standards, DGFT norms, and international trade policies.
  • Build digital export communication channels and manage B2B portals, export inquiries, and email marketing.
  • Maintain strong rapport with existing clients and ensure repeat business and customer satisfaction.

Desired Candidate Profile:

  • Graduate / MBA in International Business / Marketing / Commerce preferred.
  • Minimum 5

    years experience in Export Sales / International Business

    in FMCG / Consumer Products / Sports Goods / Footwear industry.
  • Strong knowledge of export processes, documentation, logistics, Incoterms, and trade compliances.
  • Proven track record in generating export sales and developing global markets.
  • Excellent communication skills in English. Knowledge of additional foreign languages will be an advantage.
  • Strong negotiation, relationship-building, and email communication skills.
  • Ability to handle end-to-end export business cycles and develop inside the sales funnel.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, Excel, and online export communication tools/B2B platforms.
