Job Summary:
Leadership position responsible for developing and managing export operations for food and frozen snacks business. Drives international market expansion, manages export compliance and logistics, and builds sustainable international customer relationships while ensuring profitable growth in global markets.
Key Responsibilities:
Export Business Development & Market Expansion
- Develop comprehensive export strategy for food and frozen snacks across target international markets
- Identify and evaluate new international markets and distribution opportunities
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis for international expansion
- Build and maintain relationships with international distributors, importers, and retail chains
- Participate in international trade shows, exhibitions, and B2B networking events
- Negotiate and finalize export contracts, pricing, and commercial terms with international buyers
Product Development & Market Adaptation
- Collaborate with product development team to create export-specific product variants
- Ensure products meet international quality standards and regulatory requirements
- Adapt packaging, labeling, and product specifications for different international markets
- Work with R&D team on product innovation for specific export market needs
- Coordinate product certification and compliance for international food safety standards
- Manage product portfolio optimization for different geographic markets
Export Operations & Logistics Management
- Oversee end-to-end export operations including order processing, documentation, and shipment
- Coordinate with freight forwarders, shipping agents, and logistics service providers
- Manage export documentation including commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin
- Ensure compliance with export regulations, customs requirements, and international trade laws
- Optimize logistics costs and delivery timelines for international shipments
- Implement quality control measures for export products and packaging
Regulatory Compliance & Certification Management
- Ensure compliance with international food safety regulations (HACCP, FDA, EU regulations, etc.)
- Manage organic certification processes for international markets
- Coordinate with regulatory consultants and certification bodies for market-specific approvals
- Maintain updated knowledge of changing international trade regulations and tariffs
- Handle customs clearance, duty optimization, and trade finance documentation
- Manage product liability insurance and export credit insurance
Financial Management & Performance Optimization
- Develop export pricing strategies considering market dynamics, competition, and profitability
- Manage export receivables, payment terms, and currency risk mitigation
- Coordinate with banks for letters of credit, export financing, and trade finance solutions
- Monitor export performance metrics including revenue, profitability, and market share
- Prepare regular export performance reports and business forecasts
- Optimize export margins through cost management and operational efficiency
Team Building & Stakeholder Management
- Build and lead export operations team as business scales
- Coordinate with internal teams including production, quality, finance, and marketing
- Manage relationships with external partners including agents, distributors, and service providers
- Collaborate with Marketing and Brand Manager on international brand building initiatives
- Train and develop team members on export procedures and international business practices
- Foster cross-functional collaboration for export business success

Required Qualifications:
Education:
MBA in International Business/Export Management or Bachelor's degree with relevant export experienceExperience:
6-10 years in export management, preferably in food/FMCG/agricultural productsSkills:
