Job Description

You will be leading the import team and overseeing end-to-end import/export documentation to ensure compliance with international trade regulations. Your responsibilities will include coordinating with freight forwarders, shipping lines, and customs authorities to ensure timely shipment clearance and delivery. Managing Letter of Credit (LC) procedures and foreign exchange requirements as per trade policies will be an integral part of your role. It will also be your responsibility to track and monitor shipments, update stakeholders, and resolve any delays or discrepancies. Maintaining accurate records of all import/export transactions for audit and reporting purposes will be crucial. Collaboration with suppliers, customers, and internal teams will be necessary to ensure seamless trade operations. You will be expected to ensure strict adherence to customs regulations, GST compliance, and duty structure policies. Negotiating freight rates and contracts with service providers to optimize costs will also be a part of your responsibilities. Staying informed about international trade laws, regulatory changes, and market trends will be essential to your role. This is a full-time position that offers health insurance benefits.
