Exploration Geologist – Mining & Mineral Exploration Company: Shanvi Resources Private Limited Location: Bhubaneswar, Odisha (Frequent travel to field sites across India and Africa) Job Type: Full-time | On-site/Field-based Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated Exploration Geologist with hands-on experience in mineral exploration, geological mapping, and core logging. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in early-stage exploration, data interpretation, and resource evaluation for various projects involving base metals, graphite, manganese, iron ore, and gold. Key Responsibilities: Conduct regional and detailed geological mapping, sampling, and trenching. Supervise drilling operations (RC/diamond), manage contractors, and ensure safety compliance. Perform lithological, structural, and alteration core logging. Assist in preparing exploration models and 2D/3D interpretations using GIS or modeling software. Manage and document field data, sample dispatch, QA/QC protocols. Collaborate with geophysicists, GIS analysts, and mining engineers. Prepare technical reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders. Contribute to JORC/NI 43-101 compliant resource estimation projects. Required Qualifications: B.Sc./M.Sc. in Geology / Applied Geology. 2–5 years of field experience in mineral exploration (freshers with internship/project experience may also apply). Knowledge of GIS/Remote Sensing, MapInfo, QGIS, Surfer, or Leapfrog is preferred. Strong communication and report-writing skills. Willingness to work in remote field locations, both domestic and international. Preferred Skills: Experience in exploration of graphite, lithium, gold, copper, or iron ore. Exposure to satellite data interpretation and geochemical analysis. Familiarity with Indian and international mining codes (JORC, NI 43-101). What We Offer: Competitive salary and project allowances.
