Position Summary:

We’re in search of a highly skilled, creative, and passionate developer who specializes in WordPress (especially ACF & WooCommerce) and Shopify (Liquid). You’ll work closely with our in-house designers, project managers, and QA engineers to deliver world-class websites, Shopify stores, and custom CMS solutions that drive performance and engagement.

This role demands both frontend and backend development capabilities. You’ll be customizing existing themes, building plugins/modules, integrating APIs, and implementing advanced dynamic content using ACF.

Key Responsibilities:

WordPress Development

• Develop and maintain custom WordPress websites using modern development best practices
• Deep experience working with Advanced Custom Fields (ACF) for custom page templates and field management
• Customize existing themes and create new custom themes from scratch
• Build and modify plugins based on business requirements
• Optimize websites for performance, speed, and SEO
• Build responsive front-end layouts using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery
• Maintain WooCommerce product catalog, payment integrations, shipping modules, and checkout flows

Shopify Development

• Customize Shopify themes using Liquid
• Build new Shopify storefronts and landing pages from provided Figma/Sketch/XD designs
• Add advanced functionality using jQuery, Shopify Scripts, metafields, and apps
• Collaborate with designers and marketers to implement conversion-driven UX
• Integrate Shopify with third-party platforms (CRM, ERP, Marketing Tools)
• Handle Shopify Plus customizations, checkout logic, and subscription models

Cross-Platform

• Debug and resolve website issues and performance bottlenecks
• Implement and consume RESTful APIs
• Collaborate with SEO and marketing teams to ensure code complies with technical SEO guidelines
• Perform version control with Git and deployment workflows
• Participate in Agile/Scrum meetings and code reviews

Required Skills and Experience:

• 2–3 years of hands-on experience in WordPress and Shopify development
• Proficiency in ACF, WooCommerce, and Shopify Liquid
• Advanced knowledge of jQuery, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3
• Experience working with page builders like Elementor, Gutenberg, and WPBakery (as needed)
• Custom theme and plugin development skills
• Understanding of responsive web design and cross-browser compatibility
• REST API knowledge – WordPress REST API, Shopify Storefront API, third-party APIs
• Familiarity with performance tools like Lighthouse, GTMetrix, or WebPageTest
• Familiarity with Git and CI/CD pipelines (basic)
• Shopify Plus experience (scripts, checkout.liquid, Flow)
• Headless CMS knowledge (e.g., WordPress REST API + Next.js frontend)
• Experience with Tailwind CSS or Bootstrap
• Experience in custom checkout or subscription logic
• Shopify app development (Node.js or Laravel)
• Experience with page speed optimization (Core Web Vitals)
• Basic Photoshop/Figma-to-HTML slicing knowledge
• Web accessibility and WCAG standards
