Job Overview:
We are seeking a Design Researcher who can go beyond gathering data to reveal deep human insights that drive design, innovation, and strategic decisions. The ideal candidate is curious, analytical, and empathetic - skilled in both primary and secondary research - and capable of transforming complex findings into clear, actionable design opportunities that influence business direction.
Key Responsibilities

Plan and conduct end-to-end primary research - including interviews, contextual inquiries, ethnographic studies, and usability evaluations - to understand user behaviors and motivations

Perform rigorous secondary research across multiple sources to identify industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices

Synthesize qualitative and quantitative inputs into compelling insights, frameworks, personas, experience principles, and opportunity maps

Partner closely with designers, product managers, and business stakeholders to align research insights with design and strategic goals

Develop research reports, storytelling artifacts, and visual narratives that effectively communicate insights to diverse audiences

Co-facilitate design sprints, ideation sessions, and co-creation workshops that translate research into tangible design outcomes

Continuously advocate for the voice of the user throughout the product development and decision-making process
Key Skills & Qualifications

Experience: 2–3 years of experience in design research, user research, or related roles

Education: Bachelor’s degree in design

Research Skills: Proficient in conducting both primary (interviews, field studies) and secondary (desk-based) research

Synthesis & Analysis: Ability to interpret data, identify patterns, and translate findings into actionable insights

Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills for presenting research outcomes

Presentation Skills: Skilled at creating and delivering visually engaging presentations and reports

Collaboration: Team player with the ability to work closely with designers, strategists, and stakeholders

Tools: Familiarity with Miro, Figma, or similar tools for documentation and collaboration
