Job Title: Expatriate Store Manager

Reports To: Retail Operations Manager

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly driven and performance-focused Store Manager to lead retail operations at one of our strategic locations across Nigeria. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, retail management experience, and a keen ability to drive profitability through operational excellence, team engagement, and exceptional customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

Achieve monthly and annual sales targets (by value and volume)

Drive performance across margins, shrinkage, stock cover, ageing, loss notes, and discounts to meet profit (EBITDA) goals

Conduct monthly performance reviews with store teams against budgeted KPIs and define actionable improvement plans

Implement brand strategies and in-store sales programs effectively

Strategize to improve average bill value and transaction volume

Lead and motivate the store team to ensure optimal performance and productivity

Identify and develop high-potential team members

Ensure efficient merchandising and assortment planning in collaboration with Store Merchandisers

Adhere to operational checklists and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to maintain store standards

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

Growth in sales (value & volume)

Margin improvement and profitability

Cost control and reduction in store expenses

Shrinkage minimization

Productivity and team efficiency ratios

Skills & Competencies

Strong leadership and communication skills

Excellent organizational skills across inventory, display, and merchandising

Analytical thinking to monitor sales, budgets, and financial performance
