Job Title: Financial Controller (Expatriate – Indian National Only)

Job Summary

We’re hiring for our client, a reputed Group of Companies with operations across the UK, Africa, Middle East, and India. With business interests spanning Oil & Gas, Food, Agri Commodities, Transport, and Logistics, they are seeking a qualified Indian Financial Controller who is open to relocating to Nigeria.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Reporting:

• Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with GAAP.

• Deliver timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.

2. Budgeting & Forecasting:

• Contribute to the development of annual budgets and forecasts.

• Monitor budget performance and provide variance analysis.

3. General Ledger & Compliance:

• Maintain accurate general ledger records and ensure compliance with internal and regulatory standards.

4. Month-End & Year-End Close:

• Lead closing processes and ensure proper financial adjustments and documentation.

5. Financial Analysis:

• Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.

• Present insights and recommendations to management.

6. Taxation & Audit Support:

• Support tax filing processes and ensure compliance with local tax regulations.

• Assist with preparation and coordination of external audits.

7. Process Improvement:

• Identify opportunities to streamline accounting procedures and enhance accuracy.

8. Team Collaboration:

• Work with cross-functional teams and support junior finance staff.

Requirements:

• Must be a Chartered Accountant (CA).

• Indian nationality is mandatory.

• Minimum of 5–10 years of relevant experience, preferably within the FMCG sector.

• Willingness to relocate to Nigeria.

• Strong understanding of international financial standards, compliance, and reporting.
