Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Amritsar for a Senior Sous Chef at Fortune Ranjit Vihar - Member ITC Hotels' Group. In this role, the Senior Sous Chef will oversee the department and daily kitchen operations, manage culinary staff, and ensure that high-quality food standards are consistently met. Responsibilities include planning and preparing menus, maintaining cost control, monitoring inventory, and ensuring compliance with hygiene and safety regulations. The position also involves mentoring and training kitchen staff to achieve culinary excellence and efficiency.


Qualifications

  • Extensive culinary expertise, with strong skills in food preparation, menu creation, and presentation
  • Proven experience in kitchen management, team leadership, and staff training
  • Effective communication and organizational skills
  • Knowledge of food safety, hygiene standards, and inventory management
  • Creativity and the ability to adapt to innovative culinary trends
  • Experience in budget management and cost control for kitchen operations
  • Relevant culinary certifications or a degree in Culinary Arts, Hotel Management, or a related field
  • Experience in upscale or luxury hospitality establishments is a strong advantage
