Job Purpose:

To manage the end-to-end procurement process from Purchase Requisition (PR) to Purchase Order (PO), ensuring timely material availability, cost efficiency, and compliance with company policies and statutory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Handle
PR to PO
process in ERP — from indent verification, sourcing, and quotation comparison to order release.
Responsible for
procurement of engineering items, consumables, and general materials
.
Conduct
vendor negotiations
to ensure best price, quality, and delivery terms.
Coordinate with
suppliers, stores, accounts, and end users
for smooth material flow.
Ensure timely
bill submission, verification, and forwarding for payment processing
.
Maintain and update
vendor database
, ensuring GST details and compliance are accurate.
Stay updated on
GST / statutory changes
related to procurement and communicate the same to the team.
Track and monitor delivery schedules and follow up with suppliers for on-time dispatch.
Support audit requirements through proper documentation and record maintenance.

Key Skills & Competencies:

Strong understanding of
purchase cycle, GST compliance, and ERP systems
.
Good negotiation, analytical, and coordination skills.
Familiarity with
engineering spares and consumables procurement
.
Excellent communication and follow-up abilities.

Educational Qualification:

Graduate in Science / Commerce / Engineering.
Diploma / MBA in Materials Management preferred.
