Executive Officer in the Division of Community Medicine and Public Health Practice, School of Public Health

(Ref.: 533791) (to commence as soon as possible on a one-year temporary basis or two-year fixed-term basis, with the possibility of renewal subject to funding availability and satisfactory performance).Applicants should possess a Bachelor's degree or above in Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related field, with at least 3 years of relevant experience in office administration, operations, or project coordination, preferably in tertiary education or public health settings. They should have a good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese, coupled with strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with internal and external stakeholders. Candidates must be analytical, mature, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently as well as collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and experience with database management systems are essential. Prior work experience involving procurement, budgeting, human resources, or grant-funded projects will be an advantage.The appointee will work on a large-scale public health screening and research programme in the Division. Responsibilities include providing comprehensive office administration, coordinating meetings and public engagement and social events, managing procurement and vendor relations, maintaining records and databases, and preparing reports and presentations. The role also involves assisting with financial administration, drafting operational guidelines, and ensuring smooth communication across multidisciplinary teams. Additional duties may include ad hoc tasks as assigned to support programme objectives.A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits. The appointment on fixed terms will attract a contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme totalling up to 10% of basic salary.The University only accepts online application for the above post.
