Composites Association aims to better the Indian composite industry by working closely with industry players, raw material suppliers, innovators, government agencies, foreign partners, and end-users. Serving as a critical interface, the Composites Association bridges the gap between prototype concept and testing to aid in the industry's growth and expansion. The association, based in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, focuses on building capacities and expanding the knowledge base of domestic stakeholders by including subject matter experts and specialists in its advisory board.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Executive Director based in Ahmedabad. The Executive Director will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the association, coordinating with industry players, raw material suppliers, innovators, government agencies, foreign partners, and end-users. The Executive Director will lead and oversee strategic initiatives, represent the organisation in various forums, and work to expand the association's impact in the industry. The role requires facilitating the capacity-building of domestic stakeholders, organising events, and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Leadership and Management skills
• Experience in Strategic Initiatives and Project Management
• Strong Communication and Public Relations skills
• Networking and Stakeholder Engagement Skills
• Knowledge of the Composite Industry, including raw materials and research perspectives
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related field; Master’s degree preferred
• Ability to work on-site in Ahmedabad
• Minimum 15 years of experience at the senior level in the composite industry is preferable.
