Role Overview

Executive – Biotechnology Lab Operations


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage daily operations and upkeep of laboratory facilities and instruments.
  • Maintain logs for equipment usage, samples, and associated charges.
  • Order and organize lab consumables, chemicals, and compressed gases per safety guidelines.
  • Oversee procurement processes for lab equipment.
  • Coordinate installations, demonstrations, maintenance, and repairs.
  • Ensure strict compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean, organized lab space.


Qualifications & Experience

  • Postgraduate degree in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Microbiology, Environmental Science, or related field.
  • 1–3 years’ experience in lab operations (incubator, academic, or research setup).
  • Familiarity with laboratory equipment handling and Good Laboratory Practices (GLP).
  • Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel) and database management.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
