Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Baggage Handling:
Loading and unloading passenger luggage and cargo onto and off aircraft.
Equipment Operation:
Safely operating conveyor belts, tugs, and other baggage handling equipment.
Sorting & Tracking:
Sorting baggage based on destination tags and ensuring it reaches the correct aircraft or baggage claim area.
Coordination:
Communicating and coordinating with flight and ground crews, ticket agents, and other airport staff.
Safety & Security:
Implementing safety procedures, conducting physical searches of bags, applying security seals when necessary, and following all airport security protocols.
Reporting & Documentation:
Reporting lost or damaged luggage and assisting with baggage recovery procedures.
Maintenance:
Performing general cleaning duties and maintaining the cleanliness of work areas and equipment.
