Job Summary:

The IT Executive is responsible for managing and maintaining the organization s IT infrastructure, providing technical support to users, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring smooth and secure operation of systems, networks, and hardware. This role is essential to supporting day-to-day business operations and contributing to long-term IT goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Support:

Provide first-level technical support to employees for hardware, software, networking, and system issues.
Respond to IT helpdesk requests via email, calls, or ticketing system.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices.

System Administration:

Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, software applications, and hardware.
Ensure smooth functioning of servers, LAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, and other infrastructure.
Perform routine system backups, patch updates, and antivirus monitoring.

Network Management:

Monitor and maintain local and wide area networks (LAN/WAN).
Support firewall, switches, routers, and IP-based surveillance systems.
Resolve internet or connectivity issues in coordination with service providers.

Asset & User Management:

Maintain accurate inventory of IT assets (laptops, desktops, software licenses, accessories).
Manage user accounts (creation, modification, deactivation) in systems like Active Directory, Google Workspace, Office 365, etc.

IT Documentation & Reporting:

Document system configurations, changes, user manuals, and standard operating procedures.
Prepare periodic reports on IT incidents, resolutions, system health, and asset utilization.

IT Compliance & Security:

Ensure data protection protocols are in place and followed.
Assist in implementing cybersecurity measures and best practices.
Support audits and compliance activities (e.g., ISO, GDPR, ITGC).

Support IT Projects:

Assist in rollout of new systems, tools, or applications.
Coordinate with vendors for procurement, AMC, warranty, and support.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor s degree in IT/Computer Science or related field.
1-3 years of experience in an IT support or system administration role.
Strong knowledge of Windows/Linux OS, MS Office, networking concepts, and basic hardware troubleshooting.
Familiarity with cloud tools (Google Workspace, Microsoft 365), ITSM tools, and antivirus/firewall systems.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
