Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Calculate and deduct TDS on salaries, vendor payments, and other applicable transactions
Prepare and issue
Form 16 / 16A
to employees and vendors
File TDS returns (Form 24Q, 26Q) within statutory deadlines
Ensure timely deposit of TDS challans to government authorities
Reconcile TDS accounts and verify data accuracy
Handle corrections, amendments, and respond to notices from tax authorities
Maintain proper records of TDS transactions and compliance documentation
Coordinate with internal teams and vendors to ensure smooth TDS processing
Stay updated with latest
TDS rules, regulations, and statutory requirements
Managing vendor payments and supplier accounts
Sending and tracking customer invoices
Follow-ups on pending payments and collections

Assisting internal or external audits
Maintaining documentation and records for compliance

Preparing
financial reports
for management
Month-end and year-end accounting closures
Analyzing accounts for discrepancies or errors

Required Skills:

Strong knowledge of
TDS compliance and Form 16/16A preparation
Hands-on experience in TDS calculation and filing software
High accuracy and attention to detail
Analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks
Effective communication and coordination skills

Preferred Qualifications:

CA Inter with exposure to accounts and taxation
Familiarity with accounting software (Tally, SAP, QuickBooks, etc.)
