Executive Accountant

Role & responsibilities

• Bookkeeping & Data Entry:

  Record day-to-day financial transactions, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments in the accounting system.

• Accounts Payable & Receivable:

  Process supplier invoices, follow up on customer payments, and maintain records of all transactions.

• Bank Reconciliation:

  Perform monthly reconciliations of bank statements with company records.

• Expense Management:

  Check and record employee reimbursements, petty cash expenses, and ensure proper documentation.

• GST/TDS Compliance:

  Assist in preparing GST/TDS returns and ensuring timely filing of tax-related documents.

• Assisting in Audits:

  Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation and explanations.

• Financial Reporting:

  Prepare basic reports such as trial balance, ledgers, and expense summaries for management review.

• Documentation & Record Keeping:

  Maintain proper filing of invoices, receipts, and accounting records for easy retrieval.

• Team Collaboration:

  Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations.

Payroll (Singapore):

• Process and verify monthly payroll for employees/clients.

• Ensure compliance with CPF, IRAS (IR8A, IR21), SDL, SHG, and other statutory requirements.

• Maintain accurate payroll records and update employee/client data.

• Coordinate with clients for payroll inputs, approvals, and reporting.

• Respond to client payroll-related queries promptly and professionally.

• Support internal/external audits and year-end tax submissions.

Preferred candidate profile

Preferred Skills:

• Experience working with multi-country payroll.
• Knowledge of international taxation or transfer pricing (optional).
• Ability to handle tight deadlines and multitask.
• 3-4 years of experience
