Qualification:

Essential:

Candidate should have bachelors degreein anystream from recognized institute.

Desired:

MBA/PG / Diploma in supply chain management / MaterialManagement/BusinessAdmi nistration, or a related field form any reputedinstitution.

Experience:

Essential:

Minimum of 3-6 years of experience in a dispatch, logistics, or transportation role in any Manufacturing or service industries.

Desirable:

Experience in Best Manufacturing process.

Strong knowledge of dispatch software and GPS trackingsystems.

Knowledge of transportation regulations specific to theregion.

Customer service experience.

Job Profile:

Plan to ensure availability of transport vehicles toadhere to the timely delivery to customers

Maintain strong relationships with third party vendorsfor provision of logistics from plants

Ensure close liaising with the respective departmentsfor dispatch of customer orders as per the dispatch plan

Guide loading and unloading operations of finished goodsinto containers, while adhering to specific requirements of each product

Coordinate with internal departments to implementpolicies for handling rejected goods by customers

Prepare and analyse last day reports of ingot and liquidalloy movement from plants

Conduct reviews of ingot alloy stacking and packagingnorms before dispatch

Follow up with customers on overdue (payment receiptsand shortages)

Dispatch Coordination:

Schedule and dispatch drivers, vehicles, and equipmentto appropriate locations according to customer requests, specifications, orneeds.

Monitor vehicle and driver performance to ensure timelydeliveries.

Adjust dispatch schedules as necessary to accommodateunexpected events like traffic delays, weather conditions, or urgent orders.

Shipment Tracking:

Track the status of dispatched orders and providereal-time updates to customers and relevant teams.

Use tracking systems and software to monitor anddocument all shipments.

Documentation:

Maintain accurate records of dispatch activities, including driver logs, delivery times, and customer interactions.

Ensure all dispatch documents, such as bills of ladingand delivery receipts, are completed accurately and in a timely manner.

Compliance:

Ensure compliance with all transportation regulationsand safety standards.

Monitor and enforce adherence to company policiesregarding vehicle use and driver conduct.
