Job Description

DFT Engineers

Role:

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement DFT architecture and methodologies for ASIC/SoC designs
Scan insertion, ATPG, scan stitching, MBIST/Logic BIST implementation
Boundary scan (IEEE 1149.1), JTAG implementation & validation
Test pattern creation & validation (stuck-at, transition, path delay faults)
Collaborate with RTL, synthesis, and physical design teams to ensure DFT compliance
Support silicon bring-up, ATE test development, and yield enhancement

Required Skills:

Strong knowledge of DFT techniques scan insertion, ATPG, MBIST, boundary scan
Hands-on with industry tools (Synopsys DFT Compiler, Tetramax, Tessent, TestMAX/DFTMAX, ModelSim, Questa, VCS)
Experience in STA, fault simulations, coverage analysis
Good scripting knowledge (Python, Perl, Tcl)
Solid understanding of digital design and RTL
