Job Description

The Event Sales Manager role in Bangalore requires you to be accountable for driving sales and revenue related to corporate events and exhibitions. Your responsibilities will include generating leads, nurturing client relationships, and finalizing deals to ensure utmost customer satisfaction. To excel in this position, you should be a dynamic and results-oriented professional with a background in event sales, business development, and client management. Your key responsibilities will involve developing and implementing sales strategies to meet revenue targets for events and exhibitions. You will be expected to identify new business opportunities through networking and cold calling, as well as establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and industry professionals. Crafting compelling event proposals and presentations to attract potential clients, negotiating contracts and pricing terms to enhance profitability, and collaborating with the event planning team for seamless service delivery are crucial aspects of this role. Additionally, staying updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to refine sales strategies, attending trade shows and networking functions to expand market presence, and maintaining accurate sales reports and client databases will be part of your routine tasks. To qualify for this position, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality, or a related field, along with at least 2 years of experience in event sales, hospitality sales, or business development. Strong sales and negotiation skills, effective communication, presentation, and interpersonal abilities, proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite, and the capacity to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment are essential. Knowledge of event planning and execution would be advantageous.
