About the Role – Events Sales Manager: We’re on the lookout for a hungry, self-driven Events Sales & Business Development Manager who’s ready to take charge of our growing sales function. If you’re someone who knows how to close deals, build relationships, and drive revenue — and you're looking to grow with a young company — this is the role for you. You’ll work closely with the core team to shape how The Cool Cactus scales. This isn’t just a job; it’s a chance to lead, experiment, and grow in an environment where processes are valued as much as the results. Key Responsibilities: Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets. Lead inbound sales efforts from our website and social channels. Build new business via outbound calls, references, and network outreach. Close medium to high-value deals across corporate, MICE, product launch, and sports events. Manage and mentor entry-level sales team members. Create custom proposals, client budgets, and presentations. Handle CRM operations and sales performance tracking. Coordinate closely with event operations for handovers and delivery. Own quarterly sales P&Ls and revenue planning. What We're Looking For: Minimum 4 years of experience in event sales or event execution with a strong sales component. Proven ability to close ₹10L+ event deals. Excellent communication skills in English and Hindi — both written and verbal. Experience using Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and any modern CRM system. Strong leadership skills, with experience managing teams. A go-getter who thrives in fast-paced, creative environments. Someone who believes in ownership, long hours, and long-term wins.
